As I continue to work toward the marketing stage of “Candle in the Window,” I’ve been excited to work on designing my brand. To do this, I’ve been in the research and gathering stage.

Business cards are done thanks to “Tueller’s Press” in Centerville, Utah. They are the best! The paper has a soft velvety feel to it. The artwork was hand-drawn by an exceptionally talented artist, Dick Brown. I also just received my custom printed ribbon made in Italy by “Studio Carta.” I also love ribbon from “May Arts.” Ribbon is the perfect finishing touch to any creation.

Wanting to create some designs to incorporate my new ribbon, I bought a few packages of my favorite flowers from “Trader Joe’s.” Garden Roses with a green tinge, Green Eryngium or Sea Holly, lime green Hypericum Berries, and greenery.

The glass sauce jars were left over from our daughter’s wedding over 10 years ago, and make a perfect inexpensive vase for small bud vase arrangements.

I love to make these and randomly drop them off to friends and neighbors.

Creating and gifting brings LIGHT to both the creator and the receiver! Flowers are the perfect way to LIGHT up a dreary January day! So gather your empty jars, grab some flowers from the grocery store, Costco, or Trader Joe’s and deliver 3-4 small arrangements to people who could use some LIGHT in their lives! It’s ok to keep one for yourself! You’ll discover more LIGHT in your life as well!!!
