It’s Holy Week friends! Easter is my favorite holiday of the year. We celebrated Palm Sunday with a special meeting at our church Sunday evening. It felt so good to celebrate and honor our Savior. Ron and I were talking last night about how there seems to be a resurgence of people making a concerted effort to come back to Christ, and we LOVE it! Maybe it has something to do with “The Chosen” movies that portray the life of Jesus. Are you as addicted to these as I am?!!! I haven’t been to the theater to see any of season 5 yet because I’m afraid I will sob out loud for the entire movie. I may wait until it’s released to stream on T.V. in June. Then I can sob in the privacy of our home and not disturb others.

Each one of us are born with the LIGHT of Christ within us. We have access to His LIGHT and LOVE every single day and night. He is ALWAYS with us, but do we always take advantage of this blessing? We are all children of God. This makes us brothers and sisters here on the Earth. He wants us to be happy. By following His commandments, serving others, and enduring to the end, we can indeed be happy. As we study His words through scripture and prayer, our faith will grow stronger, and this gives us strength to overcome the trials and struggles that come our way. Jesus Atoned for our sins and died on the cross that we may live eternally with Him. There are so many ways to celebrate Holy Week. In addition to your own personal daily study, here’s a way to share a little more Jesus with those you love.

I don’t know if you’ve seen the “Little Jesus” figurine craze going around. I first saw these at a craft boutique a few weeks ago. And then a friend told me how she is using them for her family on Easter Sunday. These little Jesus’ are popping up all over, and I think it’s one of the best “in-things” that’s come along in a long time! Kids are finding them in their lockers, in their cars, in their sock drawer, in a shoe, and the list goes on. I decided to join the cause and spread a little Jesus as well. I ordered a bunch of packets of 100 of them on Amazon. There are many different options, but this one is my favorite. He’s a little bigger than some, and more detailed, I love his face the best. I glued mine onto a print I bought at a craft boutique and have it sitting on my desk. It makes me smile inside each time I look at Him. Some of my friends that I gave these to shared them with the children at church. One little girl made this comment – “Hey mom look! Jesus wears a sash to hold all of His badges. He gets them for being the good Jesus!” Even parents were coming in and saying, “We want one too!”

This made my heart happy to hear that children and adults as well are loving a little more Jesus in their lives because “He IS good!!!! In times of uncertainty and a world where things are anything but stable, I have to bring balance back in to my life to overcome the anxiety I’ve been feeling. The way I do this is to focus on Jesus, and try to do one thing each day to serve someone else. I hope and pray, as we honor Jesus throughout this Holy Week, that we can feel of His LIGHT and LOVE. And as His disciples, we too can share of our LIGHT and LOVE to others. Let’s all be like Jesus!
