A Week In Paradise Filled With Light And Love

This past week has been a dream come true!!! We were blessed with the opportunity to come to Kauai with all 15 of our kids and grands!

This was our first visit to Kauai and it didn’t disappoint. We stayed at “Koloa Landing Resort” at Poipu, the sunnier side of “The Garden Island”.

The last time we were all together in Hawaii was on Maui in 2004, and there were only five of us then.

“Koloa Landing”was the perfect place for kids of all ages. The pools are the most incredible we’ve ever been to, and the virgin guava lava flow drinks were a must every day from the food service at the pool. The food poolside was delicious as well.

Our two villas were spotlessly clean, and had every amenity we needed and then some. The kids were excited when we all received an orchid lei upon arrival, and another Kukui nut lei before we left.

We did a catamaran excursion through “Blue Dolphin” tours up the NaPali Coastline where we snorkeled with turtles, and lots of brightly colored fish. We saw humpback whales and spinner dolphins, and the majestic 4,000 foot cliffs Kauai is known for.

We had one drizzly day in Hanalei, but that was even fun to see the other side of the island with its Hawaiian small town feel.

We ate good food, soaked up lots of sun, ocean, and beach. Truly filled our buckets with LIGHT and love as we bonded closer as a family.

What a blessing it has been to experience a different side of God’s creation in this world that is so diverse.

Bring LIGHT into your life as you look for ways to make memories, whether you plan ahead for a “Koloa Landing” Kauai dream vacation, or a day of BBQ in your own backyard!

Love Ya, Les 💚
