Thanksgiving was a lot of work, but always a time to reflect and be grateful for all the blessings in our lives. It is also the perfect way to prepare our hearts and hands to serve others as we enter into the Christmas season, the season of LIGHT!

I have always loved Christmas, and our house overflows with even more LIGHT than usual this time of year. Today’s post is quick and simple. Starting today, share your LIGHT by doing something kind for someone.

It doesn’t have to be big, and it doesn’t have to cost anything. Each year I can’t wait to participate in the Light The World campaign from my church, The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints!

So in these uncertain times where so many of God’s children are suffering, look for ways to brighten someone’s day. You’ll find your own troubles will seem smaller, and your heart will be filled with LIGHT as you serve like He did. May we follow His example, as we serve others not just in December, but throughout the coming New Year as well.
