Best Framing Place In Utah

Six months ago I took some things to be framed at Rensel Studio in Ogden, Utah. https://renselstudio.blogspot.com/p/contact-us_2090.html  I knew it would take some time as they are in high demand because of their unique and artistic flair in framing.  The three items I took in were worth the wait.

As you may recall, we had a hummingbird build her nest on top of one of our Edison light bulbs strung across our front porch last summer.  It was the highlight of the summer as we watched Harriett build her nest, lay her eggs, and anxiously await the arrival of her two children.  After studying to see if hummingbirds return to the same nest each year, I learned they do return to the same area to build their nest annually; however, they build a new nest each time.  This was such a special occasion in our lives that I wanted to remember it forever.

I sacrificed the strand of lights to have the nest framed to hang in our home as a daily reminder of the LIGHT Harriett brought us each day.  In all my 62 years, I’ve never seen a hummingbird nest, let alone any babies.

I’ll never forget the day Ron sent me a picture and a text while I was in London saying, “We have two beaks poking out of the nest!”  I returned home in time to see the two baby birds in the nest and loved that they hung around the hummingbird feeders after they were old enough to fly on their own until they flew south for the winter.  We are hoping they all return to delight us with their Light filled antics again this summer!

I sent some of the pictures of our hummingbird babies to Amber at Rensel Studios and asked if she could incorporate them into the framed work of art somehow.  She nailed it!!!  I was thrilled to see what she came up with.  From a distance, it actually looks like real hummingbirds sitting in the nest!

I also had her frame a “Shepherd’s Bush” https://www.shepherdsbush.net/ cross-stich sampler I stitched over 30 years ago, in addition to my “Professional Business of Floristry & Events Styling Course” diploma from the “Judith Blacklock Flower School, London England.”

Amber is not only a professional framer, but also a talented artist as she hand-paints and hand-cuts the mats in each custom framed piece.  These are show pieces of the most sentimental nature, and I will cherish them daily as they bring LIGHT, Love and Memories of happy times!

Spring is the perfect time to clean and refresh our homes.  If you have an extra special keepsake you want to frame as a family heirloom, call Amber at “Rensel Studio” and make an appointment to have her help you design and frame your lovely treasures.

Have a great week, and hold on to the LIGHT!  Spring is on the way!

Love Ya, Les 😊
