Major Brent Taylor Foundation Gala
/I want to share information in today’s post about the Major Brent Taylor Foundation’s Annual Fundraiser Gala and Silent Auction.
The Major Brent Taylor Foundation was founded by Mrs. Jennie Taylor, the proud wife and Gold Star widow of Utah Army National Guard Major Brent Taylor.
Major Taylor lived a life of devotion to God, Family and Country, and his memorial Foundation seeks to carry forward the legacy he left behind.
Candle in the Window will be donating two large totes filled with some of our favorite gifting items to be auctioned off, in addition to some custom “God Bless America” pins for the foundation to use as they see fit.
The items in the two totes are both the same, just with a different color scheme. All personal care items are sealed as they came from the manufacturer.

Be sure to click on the link to learn more about the Gala and what they do. With the holidays just around the corner, this would be a great family project to donate to, or give them a call and see if they need volunteers to help with any of their upcoming activities.
Giving of our time is one of the BEST gifts we can give. It doesn’t cost anything to serve in this way, and we fill the world with LIGHT as we serve others.
Look for ways to serve others this week, and make plans to serve as friends, families, and neighborhoods for the holidays, and let’s fill the world with LIGHT! It’s never too early to start!
Love Ya, Les :)

About The Foundation
The Major Brent Taylor Foundation was launched on what would have been the 40th birthday of Major Brent Taylor, an officer in the Utah Army National Guard who was killed in action in Afghanistan in November of 2018 while on his fourth combat deployment.
Major Taylor’s memorial foundation seeks to carry forward the legacy he left behind, and is based on three key principles:
TRAINING service-oriented leaders from all walks of life.
HONORING military members, first responders, and their families.
ENGAGING community members in meaningful acts of service.
