What A Difference A Day Makes!
/Last week I drove to St. George, in Southern Utah. A distance of 322.6 miles from my home in Kaysville, Utah.
We've had an unusually cold, wet and snowy winter, but the Southern part of our state has palm trees and a much warmer climate. I love the diverse landscape of this beautiful state. Northern Utah is known for its rugged snowy mountains, but southern Utah is famous for its sandstone red rock cliffs and mesas. Both are stunning, but it's been nice to feel a little warm sun on my face again!!!!
I know we are in desperate need of water, but I can't help but love the more mild climate of St. George!!! The flowers are blooming and spring is definitely on the way!!!!
In the space of almost five hours, you can experience the beautiful white winter snow, and then the spring flowers and sunshine. Both bring light into my life! One supplies water, the other brings spring flowers!!!
So be sure to get out and take in the natural beauty that surrounds you!!! And soak in the LIGHT.
Have a great week !!!
Love Ya, Les :)
